TV23 M News for Friday 5th June

Thank you for all your comments about our first episode of TV23 M News. We have taken your feedback on board and this week we worked hard to speak in louder and clearer voices. We also used some maps to try to show you where in the world we are reporting from. Joel had a brilliant idea that we should hang our lines where the reporters can see them rather than reading out of our books - we used our Smartboard to show us the lines as we spoke.
Please leave us a comment telling us what you think we have improved on and what we could try to improve for next week.

Great news bulletin. I really enjoyed this one. As I come from New Zealand I do like the local stories. Particularly enjoyed the story about the budget. You are all very very good readers.
Congratulations

I like the microphone you made. It looks like an icecream. I think you should have a weather report in your news.

Great news reading, clear and interesting. I also liked the microphone it made me feel hungry!! The camera did wiggle around a bit maybe it could sit on a table or tripod.

Awsome effort,

Mr J

Absolutely brilliant. I would like to hear some "local" news - perhaps something really good that happened in the Classroom or at school in the last few days. I agree with Mr J. and an improvement would be to put the camera on a tripod so that the viewer doesn't get motion sickness.

Thank you for a great News broadcast.

Craig Sterritt.

Very impressed with the quality of the news production. We have a tripod that you are welcome to borrow for future reports if you would like it. Keep up the good work.

That was absolutely fantastic! I love how you had the map as the background. I also like the way how all of you were speaking loudly and clearly. I think you have improved on this week's news. But I think it would be nice to show some pictures.

I really enjoyed the news. The map was great but it would be good to see some pictures relevant to the new story. What about a segment with a "you won't believe this"... story.

Wow room 23- you have been working very hard. Well done! I liked the music at the beginning and end of the episode. It would be good for the reporters to look at the camera more while they are reading the words (like the boy - sorry I didn't catch your name- who talked about Daniel from Dunedin.) The girl who talke about the mystery flight spoke really clearly!
Keep it up- from Mrs Clough
